The East End Jewish Community Council was formed to unite Jewish
people, synagogues and organizations on Eastern Long Island for mutual benefit and to serve as one voice representing the Jewish community. Our primary endeavor is to
enable all Jewish organizations to reach their potential and better serve their constituents through our technical assistance.
The Council is here to serve you, and we invite you to become a member of our exciting group. Through your participation, you can have a voice in all that we do. Indeed, the success of the Council depends on you! Help us advocate for the needs of our local Jewish community, promote Jewish identity and continuity, address local Jewish and community needs and issues, combat anti-Semitism and all forms of prejudice and discrimination, and enrich Jewish cultural and religious experience. Help us promote the functions, programs and activities of local synagogues and expand their memberships.
Membership information can be found here. For further information, feel free to contact us. If you have a question that needs an immediate response, please call
me at 631-369-5997.
We look forward to welcoming you to our organization!
Rabbi Bill Siemers, President
Nissan 5770 / March 2010
